Keeping your fans or participants engaged throughout an event is key to success. From the moment a potential participant hears about an event it is an opportunity to keep them engaged and talking about the pending experience. Once on-site the planners must keep the momentum going and technology is an excellent means of moving forward with positive energy.
Since the incorporation of technology can be pricy it’s important to have an understanding of the goals associated with its incorporation into an event. Will the plan be to “WOW” the audience? Is it to keep them talking or communicating throughout the program? Does the planner want immediate feedback? Does the planner want to be able to track participants throughout their event experience?
After the event has come to a close planners still want to keep past attendees engaged and looking forward future events and experiences.
To research how technology is incorporated in current events.
To identify the benefits of technology to the planner and participant.
To suggest technology that would be appropriate for different types of events.
