IgE antibody, to switch to secreting IgG antibodies when treated with a cytokine. He declines to specify the cytokine but offers the secret identity to you for only $5,000. You are well aware that this could be a very important (and lucrative) finding because of all the people with allergies who have IgE antibodies to various environmental antigens. (The market for an allergy cure is estimated to be in the billions of $$$$!!!). Only if IgE secreting B cells could be diverted to making harmless IgG by treating them with a cytokine…
