2. Diversity is an asset to an organization, but this does not mean that organizations that are diverse in nature are without problems. In fact, there are a variety of impacts that diversity can have on an organization (both good and bad). It is important that leaders recognize the importance of diversity and implement programs for increasing diversity, as well as improve an organizationâ€s culture of diversity.
In relation to diversity, address the following questions:

Assess how workplace diversity can impact a business (e.g., operations, practices, productivity, and profitability).
Then, identify one organization that has not had an effective diversity management program, or has had issues with diversity in the organization. What strategy(ies), action(s), or initiative(s) could this organization consider to create a more diverse workplace?

While there are overlapping similarities between generations, generational differences often greatly impact the workplace environment. For this discussion, address the following:

Explain the challenges that can occur due to different generations in the workplace.
Describe a time where you worked with a member of a different generation. Explain what went well, what could have gone better, and how some of the behaviors you observed in the other person were reflective of that individualâ€s generation.
