Students will reflect on their cellphone use and compare their use at the beginning of the course with the end of the course. After having learned basic strategies to reduce their cellphone use, students will try to try to reduce their cellphone use to less than two hours per day. Starting April 16th, students will monitor their cellphone use via Moment for at least one week and repeat the same scales they compiled initially. Students will write a 5-page, double-spaced paper in which they comment on any change of use pattern or rating scales over the course. Grading will not be based on achieving any specific changes but will rather focus on understanding the importance of quantifying behavior as a prerequisite for implementing desired changes. Due April 30th.
